Make Your Teeth Shine Whiter With Ayurveda

Every day dawns with brighter hopes. Life becomes successful on hopeful efforts. Brightness of teeth adds beauty to face and impression to ones personality. In the modern fast lifestyle, oral care is neglected and teeth become yellow. You can make your teeth whiter and brighter so that they make your smile more impressive. Ayurveda, the ancient medicinal system of India, suggests some tips for making teeth whiter.

Face is the index of personality. Your teeth add beauty to your complexion and bring you more success in life. Do not be worried about the stained condition of your teeth. You can make them whiter and brighter with some simple efforts. Whiter teeth provide youthful appearance.

There are many ways to make teeth shine whiter. Every medical system suggests many ways to keep teeth shining with sparkling whiteness. They have many methods to remove stains and restore whiteness. Nowadays, tooth bleaching is found effective to remove stains on the teeth and make them whiter.

Ayurvedic remedies to make teeth whiter

1) Ancient Ayurvedic texts have prescribed many methods to protect teeth and keep them white. There is a saying in South India which means that neem twig and banyan twig can maintain teeth strong and white.

2) Brushing with these twigs has been a traditional practice in India, before the arrival of modern toothbrushes and toothpastes. Even today, many people in rural areas of India brush their teeth with these twigs which are readily available in markets. They never use other commercial toothbrushes and toothpastes.

3) The aerial roots of banyan(Ficus religiosa) make good disposable toothbrushes which are very hygienic and healthy for teeth. The astringent property not only increases the whiteness of the teeth but also improves the oral health.

4) The twig of neem tree(Azadirachta) is another healthy brush used in India since long. The astringent and antiseptic properties of neem provide many health values to the body, in addition to keeping the whiteness of teeth. They are very good for oral care in treating bad breath, gum bleeding and cavities.

5) Holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) which can ordinarily be found anywhere in India is very good for teeth. Application of the paste of holy basil leaves mixed with dried powder of lemon or orange peels is effective in restoring whiteness. Apply this mixture on the teeth, keep it for ten minutes and then wash. It serves good in maintaining teeth whiter. The powder of holy basil is also used for brushing teeth.

6) Nowadays, dentists use bright lights, such as lasers, for bleaching and whitening the teeth. Application of Ayurvedic remedies along with these treatments can give better results in a shorter period and keep the teeth strong.

7) Ayurveda is a holistic treatment. It is very particular about lifestyle and diet. It suggests including bitter and astringent foods in the regular diet. It also prohibits the use of teeth-staining agents such as coffee, tea, and alkaloid beverages and the habits of chewing betel nut and smoking.

Teeth give beauty to face. They become yellowish by eating and drinking. By following the above methods teeth can be made whiter and more shining.
